ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

Karlkurltjarraku Cultural Communication Centre acknowledges Karlkurltjarraku (Kalgoorlie) the Land where the Karlkurla grows and its First Nations Peoples, the Wongutha and all other groups associated with the Land. Our Land provides substance and meaning to our lives and over generations developed an eco-environmental lifestyle, living in harmony with the Land through Laws handed down that are based on cooperating and coexisting with the forces of nature and fellow humans from all language groups.

Our Land is our connection to Identity. Many significant sites, landscapes, customs and stories focus on our connection to Land links and weaves us as First Nation Peoples together as Sovereign Caretakers.
